Koffer Klein

Koffer-Klein

Your third generation specialist for leather goods and luggage

In Frankfurt, customers have been relying on the competence of Koffer Klein for 80 years now. It is one of the few owner-managed companies in Frankfurt – and already in its third generation.

Junior boss Annette Fuchs lives – like the whole team – with enthusiasm and devotion for the products: "Our goal is to convince with professional competence and especially to focus on the human component in the customer dialog". This also applies to the entire sales team, which has been working together for many years.

If you take a look at the history of the leather goods business, you will quickly notice that it has already experienced some moving times: Heinrich and Maria Klein opened their specialist shop in Berlin's Invalidenstrasse in 1938. Soon it was destroyed in the chaos of war by bombs. The couple then dared a restart in Frankfurt in 1945 – followed by a move within the city after only three years. In 1949, an additional branch was opened in Wiesbaden. Another shop was opened in 1963 at Rossmarkt 19 and in 1973 Koffer Klein moved into the building at Rossmarkt 10, today's headquarters, for the first time. Since 1997, customers have also been able to find an extended, exclusive portfolio of travel and work products at Rossmarkt 15, at "Travel & Business". Annelie Becker, daughter of Heinrich and Maria Klein, has been in charge of the family business since 1996 and has been supported in the management by her daughter Annette Fuchs since the end of 2013.

After the extensive renovation around four years ago, the main building on Rossmarkt 10 now appears even more innovative with an international product range. The intensive renovation of the flagship store with an area of more than 550 square metres took around two years. During this phase, the sale took place in a container provided on the Rossmarkt. An incredibly exciting time for everyone.

Koffer Klein has developed continuously. This is how it should and will remain in the future. To the next 80 years and more!
